“Bear” – Past National Officer

Dave Stanley aka “Bear”

Bro. Bear (Dave Stanley) is the founder and served as the National Director of the Free Masons Riding Club from December 2005 until he retired at our 13th National Family Reunion in September 2018. Bro. Bear continues to serve as a Trustee for the club.

Bro. Bear created the design for our Shield/Back Patch/ Coat of Arms we wear proudly today. He also designed the first website for the club. It is through his and our founding members vision, dedication to the principals and ideas of Freemasonry we have the club we know today.

  • Brothers, it is good to hear from you. I have been out of touch for a good while, but went to several meets at Marble falls where I met Bear. Went on several rides, but have since sold my last bike, a 2008 Heritage softail. Really miss riding, but don’t have the strength to hold one up anymore. May still come to the meet in Eureka springs, but will be in my metal box AKA car. Do you know if Bear is going to be in Eureka Springs ? Sure would like to see him again. I met many people at Marble falls, from many different states. Me and some of my buddies went on parts of rides way back when. I was still working then, and couldn’t do long rides. Glad to be back in touch, Your brother always Frank Vermeulen from Clinton, Arkansas
