Albuquerque, NM - Thunderbird Harley

We will end at the day with plenty of time for riders to explore the area or ride up to Santa Fe. This is beautiful country and you will want to see it.

Today, we will start a little later. We will meet at 10:00AM, drawing at 10:30 and kickstands up at 10:40

The final day of the ride will be a short blast to Kingman. Our day will end early for those that want to ride on into Laughlin, or Las Vegas.

We will end at a surprise location, and have our final drawings. There may be 1 prize or 10 prizes, but we will give away some stuff.

Camping at Spring Creek State Park approx. 6 miles east of Dealership.

Amarillo KOA
Free Wi-Fi Internet service keeps guests connected at Amarillo KOA, located just yards off the original course for traveling Historic Route 66. Directions I-40 traffic take Exit 75. Go north 2 miles to highway 60, then east 1 mile. Southbound highway 287/87 traffic take Loop 335 / St. Francis Exit, then east 8 miles to highway 60 Exit, then east 1 mile.

Albuquerque Central KOA
Large swimming pool, hot tub and sauna available for all campers to use. A camping kitchen is available. Visit the nearby Rio Grande Zoo, Rio Grande Nature Center and the National Atomic Museum. Shopping can be accomplished in the Old Town shops. Great Mountain views from all directions. Directions Exit 166 off I-40, go south on Juan Tabo 1 block to Skyline road, turn left at the red car wash.

Homolovi Ruins State Park Campground (Winslow, AZ)
There are 53 camping sites with electric and hook-ups. Picnic tables and grills are available as well as day use of ramadas. The park is full of trails to see the three main pueblo ruins in the park.More than 300 archaeological sites have been identified within the park boundaries and the visitor center provides exhibits that interpret the significance of this area. Directions From Flagstaff, take I-40 East to Hwy. 87 North, use exit 257.

Kingman KOA
There is a pool at the Kingman KOA, complimenting campsites that are divided by flowering bushes among large shade trees. The covered pavilion and group fire pit are convenient for gatherings. Directions Eastbound I-40 Exit 51, north 0.5 mile to Airway turn right to Roosevelt. Westbound Exit 53, north to Airway, turn left 1 mile to Roosevelt Highway 93, rejoin I-40.

Riders who can only make part of the trip, are welcome.

A support truck will follow for Breakdowns, Fatigued riders, camping equipment, tools etc.  All Participants are responsible for their own Motel or camping arrangements, and expenses.   It is suggested that all who plan to attend make, at the very least, their motel reservations in Kingman, AZ
