Welcome to the Freemasons RC
A Masonic Motorcycle Riding Club.

The Freemasons Riding Club is an association founded and designed specifically to introduce motorcycling Free Masons to one another. We are comprised entirely of Freemasons with a love for freedom that is only found on two wheels in the wind.   We find our best place working in our communities and supporting various causes and charities, especially while riding with our Brothers.

Ultimately, we are the same Freemasons that you have known throughout your life and all of history a fun-loving Brotherhood of charity that is reflected in our works. We are dedicated to promoting good will in our local communities while promoting safe, fun and professional motorcycling.

We are not a gang or 1% club! As Freemasons, each of us strives to be an upright and law abiding member of the community at all times. We are active in our Lodges, dedicated to supporting the Widows and Orphans of our Brethren, and are always mindful to present a good impression of Bikers to the public when riding together.

MW John "JJ" Krom, PGM

Our Brother was born in Poughkeepsie, New York December 7,1945. He spent his early years in New York and
Reno Nevada, until relocating to California in 1956. He received his education in the public school system and attended college at Valley College.

Brother John worked as a musician, and an actor until finally settling on a career in the steel industry.

MW Brother John had an illustrious career in both Blue Lodge Masonry and our Appendant and Concordant Bodies.

He was initiated, Passed and Raised in Arizona Lodge #2, serving as its Master in 1995. He served on several
Grand Lodge Committees and was a principal in the foundation of the Arizona Masonic Foundation for Children before being appointed by MW Bill Jeffers to the progressive Grand Lodge Line, and serving as Grand Master for the 2002/2003 Grand Lodge term.

Our Brother served as the leader of all three of his York
Rite Bodies, as well as being appointed to several Grand
York Rite positions.

In the Scottish Rite MW John was the director of the
work for the 14th, 19th, and 32nd degrees, and received
his KCCH designation in 2001.

Our Brother also served the following organizations with distinction:
Arizona Research Lodge # 1
El Zaribah Shrine
West Valley High Twelve
Saguaro Council Allied Masonic Degrees
York Rite Sovereign College

Our Brother was a true Mason, both in and outside the Lodge and will be missed by all who knew him.

Smitty's 2012 Rally Report

The FMRC 2012 FAMILY REUNION, aka National Rally was in one word. FUN.....The rain on Thursday night and Friday did not deter the members from having a good time. Some played pool, visited with old and new friends, some went riding in the rain and others just relaxed and napped.

Saturday morning dawned dry and cool. I believe I heard there were 31 bikes and several cars and trucks in the procession. As always the ride was about 15 minutes long and went off without a problem. The report from the Lodge was $450.00 was donated to help with their scholarship fund. After breakfast, some went riding and others went shopping in Eureka Springs, Harrison and other locales.

At 2:30 the FMRC Rally Game Boss, Bro Bobcat called the games and the competition started. It was an action packed 2 hrs and I will let him report the winners. Trophies were presented to the winners and it was a great afternoon. Scooter's prepared the pulled pork BBQ with all the trimmings, it was good. There was a short member meeting chaired by Bear, Dano and Glojoe, I will let one of them report on the meeting.

One Way Road, arrived and started setting up for the evenings entertainment. In my opinion they are getting better every time I hear them. They played from 8 pm to around midnight and I believe all were entertained and pleased with the music.

The highlight of the Sat night festivities was the crowning and robing of the Rally King and Queen. As the sitting Queen returned to claim his throne and extend his reign, Mo continues as Queen. With the absence of Coolbreeze, a new King had to be found. The Executive Director made a decision and appointed Roach (Rooster's wife) to fill the position.

All this was kept top secret until the band took their first break and the Sgt at Arms was instructed to send his posse out to bring the King and Queen to center stage. A throne had been procured (wooden chair).

The Royal Couple was attired in their robes and had their crowns placed on their noggins and the royal fanfare was played and they held court for a few minutes and then partied with their subjects. I believe the King knighted several (Knights of the HUB) FMRC members during the evening.

Brother Bobcat was appointed to the position of State Captain of Arkansas and that state is in good hands and congratulations to him. Spiderman received his new road name and was called to the stage for congratulations and a round of applause. If you missed his daring deed, climbing the wall and installing the whitewall motorcycle tire as the letter O on the HUB MOTEL sign. Being the fact that he was 71 made the feat even more amazing.

Sunday morning broke sunny and cool and several departed for home and others stayed to party another day. I want to thank all that attended and especially those that helped with the games, crowning of the Royal couple and especially for those that brought the apple pie, blueberry, cherry and fruit punch. It was awesome.
This years Rally while light on attendance (prayers all made it thru Isaac ok) the Rally was a success and a lot of fun. Most in attendance promised to return next year, so if you want a room, would suggest calling the HUB as soon as possible.

Ole One Ear (FMRC Traveling Pig) is now riding with Chief from AZ. So now it becomes his duty to pass Ole One Ear on to a FMRC Bro he meets somewhere.
