Starting a New Chapter
Terms & Conditions
Charter for a new Chapter is $50.00 This is
a one time setup fee, and the chapter pays $20 per year dues, no matter
how many members the chapter has. There is no individual member
assessment.
All Members, must sign up for membership with
the Grand Chapter before joining a Chartered Chapter. Chartered Chapters
may sign new members up through the Grand Chapter, but they must be a
member before joining the chapter.
There is no such thing as "Associate Membership"
No Chapter may have "Associate" members. Chapters may allow members
of the FMRC Ladies Auxiliary to participate as Auxiliary members.
Chapters may officially be started with as little as 1
existing member of the Freemasons RC. However, at least 3 is suggested.
Organization will depend on the Charter. Whether formal ( with regular
officers) or informal (a group who just likes riding and hanging out
together).
Chartered chapters, may organize their runs, benefit
rides, dinner rides, road trips, fund raisers and charitable events
relevant to their local and needs. All events must have an umbrella
insurance policy in effect.
No individual Member or Chapter shall
engage in sponsoring, or co-sponsoring, a Ride, Rally or Event as a
representative of the Freemasons RC.
Any and all items with the Freemasons RC logo, must be
purchased through the Grand Chapter, or have written consent. Chartered
Chapters receive a 15-20% discount, depending on items. (No discounts on
Back Patches)
Back patches of Members & Chartered Chapters located outside the United
States will not have the American Flag. If there are 24 or more, in one
Country we can have that Country’s Flag included.
NOTE: When applying for a Charter
for a local Chapter, it is advisable to follow MC Protocol and contact the
Dominate Motorcycle Club in your area. They have a vested interest in
knowing what clubs are being formed in their areas. As of this
writing, we have had no problems. Most want to know that we are not going
to cause them problems, or lay claim to a territory. If a citizen sees a patch on a vest, they do know
the difference between us and one of the Big Four MC's, or a local club.
Thus is the reason of our main rule. Conduct yourself
accordingly. Act as though you were in Blue Lodge while wearing the
Freemasons RC Coat of Arms.
If you would like to start a Chapter please use the Contact Button.
Other rules may apply and/or become part of this agreement without
further notice.
